PM takes stock of VP’s health condition

Kathmandu, Feb 27: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ on Monday inquired about the health condition of Vice-president Nanda Bahadur Pun. The Vice-president is undergoing treatment at Norvic hospital, Thapathali. He was admitted to the hospital on Sunday night after suffering from fever, dizziness and vomiting. Prime Minister Prachanda met the Vice-president at the hospital today, according to the VP’s press coordinator Manoj Gharti.

Doctors attending on the VP, including Dr Madhu Ghimire and Dr Shivaji Bikram Silwal have said that the Vice-president is suffering from lack of sodium and water in his body. His health is however improving. Also today, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Krishna Bahadur Mahara met the Vice-president in the hospital and wished him speedy recovery.
