Nepal Army wins gold medal in women table tennis

Biratnagar, Dec 25: A team of Rabina Maharjan and Swochchha Nembang of the Nepal Army has won the gold medal on women table tennis during the match held on Sunday at Biratnagar-based Covered Hall of Martyr Stadium under the ongoing Seventh National Sports Championship.

The team of Rabina and Swochchha won the gold medal defeating the team of Nabita and Alina of Nepal Police. Similarly, a team of Shelisha and Sonu of Armed Police Force and a team of Dikshya and Sikka of Nepal Army limited to bronze medal in the competition. Likewise, a team of Pradeep Roka and Binesh Khaniya of Nepal Police won the gold medal on the men table tennis defeating the Shiva Shundar Gothe and Amarlal Malla of APF. Similarly, Nepal Police won the title in women’s team events. Nepal Police also made it through defeating the APF. The Nepal Police won the gold medal in men’s team events defeating the APF.
